Went to watch the summer's number one most anticipated movie of the year yesterday, and all i can say is... 'WoW' ...
To label the movie 'fantastic' , ' awesome' or even ' great ' would be an understatement.. Maybe the word 'oscar' would some it all up perfectly... Mind-Blowing i tell you...
Comic originated movies are usually quite boring as they follow the plot and they always end up with the hero beating the villain to a pulp and posing with his red underwear...Definitely have to give props to the director... Plot was original... really unorthodox... and even... when you thought the movie was over... think again... movie was 2 1/2 hours... but worth every second and every penny...
How often can you say that a movie is worth every penny.. Sigh... Thx to my friend and also mentor, The Joker made my money worth spent... Sadly its the Ledger's last movie, but what a way to sign off... psychotic... demented... sinister... with a perfect laugh... and OMG a disturbing habit he has where he makes weird noises with his lips... and licks them constanly...
outclassed and outdone...Not taking anything away from bruce...played by christian bale.. Good job i'll say... I'll have to disagree with shu ling's comments on him.... He had the arrogance to play bruce... and he was able to make that freakish voice which is...Batman.. (apparant special ability is to inflict fear into everyone)..
Was a nice surprise to see Harvy ' Two Face' Dent playing a role in the movie..
The only complain i have is... WHY DID THEY HAVE TO CAST MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL AS RACHEL!?!?! Katie Holmes did a great job last round... shes preggers and all now...but couldnt they like get a better female actress... Jessica Alba? Charlize Theron? ring any bells?!? sigh...
after the movie we crashed over at hani's place as she would be leavin... right about now... to her new hometown..sepang...lolz... had to leave after an hour or less cuz the queen had to go ikea to do sum last minute shopping... so we went to williams for dinner...in FIVE cars... suddenly everyone has a car... now its my turn to ask for transport... as I DISLIKE driving... so ppl... its your turn to fetch me around...had smoked duck pasta and passion fruit special... the drink was surprisingly very very very nice...lolz...
Went to chee yip's place after dinner and bunked on his bed... found sum weird white liquid stains on the bed...which he claimed to be liquid paper.. but ofcuz... we will leave it right there.... play Tai ti and then we jus chilled and chat... talked bout 'Dirty at 11.30' and 'Sexy-time' .. lolz.. went back ... and was in bed by 1.30..
Oh ya...had lunch at sushigroove...
